Leads end-to-end architecture and delivery of Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks data and AI solutions. Responsibilities include discovery, solution design, presales, proposals, scoping, governance, CI/CD standards, client presentations, and production deployment. The Architect guides engineering teams, reviews deliverables, manages milestones, risks, budgets, and customer satisfaction, and translates business objectives into scalable lakehouse and data-platform architectures.
The Role
The Inviso Architect is a senior technical leader who partners with clients and internal teams to design, scope, and deliver modern data and AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. The Architect owns engagements end-to-end, ensuring technical quality, customer satisfaction, and delivery excellence.
The Architect translates client business goals into scalable, governed Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks solutions and leads the teams that implement them.
As a Microsoft Solutions Group (MSG) technology leader, the Architect supports presales, proposals, statements of work, and complex delivery, reporting to the Practice Lead.
This 100% remote role, working in the US requiring US time-zone availability.
Key Activities for this Role
- Lead discovery, architecture, design, and delivery of Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks solutions through production deployment.
- Own technical presales, solution design, proposals, scope definition, statements of work, and client presentations.
- Define scalable data-platform architectures, engineering patterns, CI/CD standards, and governance frameworks.
- Guide Data Engineers and Consultants by assigning work, reviewing deliverables, mentoring team members, and maintaining quality standards.
- Partner with client leaders to align technical solutions with business outcomes and communicate progress, risks, and decisions.
- Manage milestones, risks, budgets, customer satisfaction, and delivery outcomes while helping evolve Inviso’s cloud offerings and methods.
Experience & Skills Required:
- 8+ years designing, architecting, and delivering Microsoft data and analytics solutions, including end-to-end Azure, Fabric, or Databricks implementations.
- Strong PySpark, SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, and software/data-engineering skills.
- Experience with scalable lakehouse architectures, medallion models, and Data Vault or dimensional modeling.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, and related services.
- Experience with CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps and GitHub, plus performance, cost, and production governance practices.
- Experience leading project teams, evaluating deliverables, supporting technical sales and scoping, and communicating effectively in written and spoken English.
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Cloud certifications in Fabric, Azure Data Engineering, or Azure Architecture preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with production AI/ML or enterprise data modernization preferred.
Compensation

OTE pay for this role ranges from $180,000 to $230,000 annually with an 80/20 base/bonus ratio), reflecting the cost of labor across multiple US geographic markets.
