Who We Are

Audicus is a health-tech company based in New York City. We are changing the hearing aid industry with a leading telehealth solution that streamlines the hearing care experience from user testing to product delivery - both for consumers and providers. We are highly mission-driven and have reconnected, transformed and empowered tens of thousands of lives to date

THE ROLE
We are looking for a B2B Head of Sales to join our vibrant team as a player-coach – someone who leads and builds our B2B sales team while also personally carrying and closing a book of strategic accounts. This candidate will drive our partnership and sales strategy across managed care organizations, insurers, employers, unions and other entities that serve the 50+ population, with a focus on growing Audicus’s presence in the hearing benefit space.

This role is ideal for a hands-on sales leader who wants to build and coach a high-performing team, while staying close to the business by personally carrying and closing deals. Analytical problem-solvers that can think strategically, build relationships and succeed in closing deals themselves - while also coaching others to do the same and owning the new-business P&L for this division - will particularly enjoy this role.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a company that is disrupting an industry and is making a lasting positive social impact in people’s lives. The candidate will report directly to the President & Chief Revenue Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and build our hyper-driven B2B sales team, consisting of partnership and sales professionals, setting the example through direct deal execution.
  • Personally own and close a pipeline of strategic accounts across managed care organizations, insurers, employers and unions.
  • Devise and execute a winning sales and partnership strategy for the +50 population and the hearing benefit space.
  • Own pipeline management and forecasting for the B2B sales team, ensuring accurate visibility into bookings and deal progression.
  • Own our sales technology strategy and approach (CRM, sales engagement and forecasting tools) to drive team productivity and data hygiene.
  • Develop and execute Audicus’s conference and industry event strategy to build pipeline and strengthen brand presence in target markets.
  • Coordinate closely with Account Management – which reports separately – on the handoff from new-logo close to onboarding and ongoing account health.
  • Hire, onboard and scale the B2B sales team as the business grows.
  • Own and manage the new-business P&L for this division.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 8-12 years of tactical experience in strategic partnerships and/or enterprise sales, with a track record of personally closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Strong background selling into managed care or benefit verticals (payers, employer benefits, unions, MLTC, etc).
    • Experience with hearing benefits strongly preferred
  • Proven player-coach experience – has personally carried and exceeded a sales quota while also building and leading a biz dev and/or sales team.
  • Early-stage startup experience, ability to work with constrained resources and get creative, is a huge plus.
  • Fast-paced team players that are methodical, hands-on problem solvers.

Compensation: $175-200K annually  Base + Bonus (OTE ~$305-350K) - compensation dependent on experience and location

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance (Aetna), 401K, Flexible PTO policy, Commuter Benefits, Additional Wellness Perks, Parental Leave Policy
