We are seeking an experienced B2B Technology Content Writer to support our client, a fast-growing Managed IT Services provider focused on helping organizations leverage technology to improve efficiency, strengthen security, and drive business growth.
Objectives of this Role- Create compelling, business-focused content that establishes our client as a trusted technology partner.
- Develop educational content that simplifies complex technology topics while reinforcing the client's consultative, people-first approach.
- Support lead generation and organic growth through SEO-driven content aligned with the buyer journey.
- Produce thought leadership that builds credibility with executives evaluating technology partners.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across multiple marketing channels and content formats.
Scope and Duration
This is a contract position for 5 hours per week for 6 months to start, with the opportunity to continue on a monthly basis afterwards.
- Research and write high-quality, SEO-optimized blog articles focused on Managed IT Services, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, compliance, communications, and digital transformation.
- Develop website copy, solution pages, landing pages, and service-focused content that clearly communicates business value.
- Create thought leadership articles that position the client as a strategic technology partner for growing organizations.
- Interview technical subject matter experts and translate complex concepts into accessible, business-friendly messaging.
- Write customer success stories, case studies, and other proof-driven marketing assets.
- Develop sales enablement materials, email campaigns, and other demand generation content that supports marketing and sales initiatives.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure technical accuracy while keeping content approachable for executive audiences.
- Collaborate with marketing and internal stakeholders to develop content strategies aligned with campaign objectives and buyer journey stages.
- Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and brand voice across all deliverables.
- 2-5 years of professional experience writing content for B2B technology companies, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), IT consulting firms, or related organizations.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of Managed IT Services, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, compliance, and modern business technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify technical concepts for CEOs, CFOs, COOs, IT leaders, and other executive audiences.
- Experience creating SEO-driven content, including blogs, landing pages, solution pages, and thought leadership articles.
- Ability to interview subject matter experts and develop engaging customer success stories and case studies.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional marketing, sales, engineering, and technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Experience writing white papers, guides, or other long-form B2B marketing assets.
- Experience working with content management systems, SEO tools, and collaborative project management platforms.
