About the Role

CADDi is on a mission to transform how manufacturers work, and our Marketing and Business Development functions are the engine driving that growth. As the Bilingual Marketing & BDR Associate (Japanese/English), you will act as a strategic bridge between our global roots and the US market, supporting leadership in driving growth across the Marketing and BDR functions. This is an opportunity for a bilingual professional early in their career to learn how high-level strategy translates into a world-class customer experience, using data-driven PDCA cycles to help maximize the value we deliver to the market.

What You Will Do

  • Targeting & Value Prop: Support the definition of qualification criteria for target customers and help clarify the value we deliver to those segments in the US market.
  • Journey Design: Help shape the user experience so that targets understand what they can achieve by working with us and are motivated to choose us as their partner.
  • Bilingual Support: Assist Marketing and BDR functions with localized communications, ensuring messaging resonates in both Japanese and English.
  • Sales & Insights: Participate in sales meetings to build understanding of customer challenges and support clear value communication across cultural boundaries.
  • Data & Operations: Support data acquisition processes and operational frameworks used to run PDCA cycles for KPI achievement.
  • Efficiency: Contribute to developing and executing productivity methods that support growth and market impact.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in marketing, business development, or a related field. Startup experience is a plus!
  • Language Proficiency: Native or business-level fluency in both Japanese and English.
  • Strategic Mindset: A structured thinker with strong ownership of outcomes and an interest in learning how global strategy translates into local operational frameworks.
  • The Toolkit: Exposure to KPI frameworks, ICP definitions, or customer journey design is a plus.
  • Sales Curiosity: Comfortable supporting consultative sales conversations and eager to learn how marketing and sales align with customer reality.
  • Systems Fluency: Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce a plus) and general comfort with data and performance tracking.

Position Requirements

  • Work Environment: Ability to work in-office 5 days a week in our Chicago office location.
  • Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
