Billing Specialist

Job Duties:

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on Solar Technology and Renewable Energy billing

  • Ability to apply college level math skills using fundamental properties to solve equations and using algebraic techniques to solve problems.

  • Fluent at handling customer issues with patience and poise to bring resolution to billing concerns

  • Update company database by inputting information from each call and keeping customer fields current

  • Flexible work schedule to meet customer needs

  • Adaptable to learning new processes and procedures

  • Reliable, dependable, and accountable

  • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing demands

 

Requirements:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel & other Microsoft software required

  • Solar Industry Experience

  • Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish & English- verbal & written)

  • Candidate must be able to work in a team environment

  • Must have a "team first" attitude

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Able to excel in an extremely fast paced environment

  • Ability to handle many different types of personalities

  • Must be able to take direction from senior management

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent work experience
