We are seeking a Brand Strategist to help organizations define their market position, strengthen customer engagement, and drive sustainable business growth through thoughtful, insight-driven brand strategy. This position combines research, business analysis, consumer understanding, and strategic planning to develop recommendations that guide marketing, communications, and brand initiatives.

Working closely with agency leadership, account teams, and creative professionals, the Brand Strategist serves as a trusted advisor who helps clients navigate competitive markets, identify opportunities, and build brands with lasting impact.

What You'll Lead

As a Brand Strategist, you'll influence the thinking behind every major initiative before creative development begins. Your work will help clients make informed business decisions rooted in research, market intelligence, and customer insight.

You'll collaborate with executive stakeholders, challenge assumptions, uncover opportunities, and translate complex information into practical strategic direction.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead strategic discovery sessions to understand client objectives, business priorities, competitive challenges, and long-term growth goals.
  • Develop comprehensive brand positioning strategies that clearly differentiate clients within competitive marketplaces.
  • Conduct market research, audience analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends.
  • Transform consumer insights, business data, and research findings into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Design messaging frameworks, brand narratives, and value propositions that create consistency across all communication channels.
  • Facilitate executive workshops, stakeholder interviews, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Advise creative, public relations, digital marketing, and account management teams throughout campaign development to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Evaluate brand performance, customer perception, and campaign effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Present strategic recommendations, market assessments, and growth opportunities to executive leadership with confidence and professionalism.
  • Support agency business development efforts by contributing strategic insights during new business presentations and client pitches.
  • Monitor shifts in consumer behavior, cultural trends, and competitive activity to help clients anticipate market changes.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to both internal teams and client leadership by providing thoughtful guidance that supports informed business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Advertising, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of four years of professional experience in brand strategy, strategic planning, integrated marketing, consulting, or agency environments.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation.
  • Experience developing positioning strategies, messaging frameworks, and strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Familiarity with brand research methodologies and customer insight tools.
  • Experience presenting strategic recommendations to executive leadership teams.
  • Professional certifications or graduate education related to marketing, branding, or strategy are considered an asset.
