Job summary
As a Business Analyst, Tax Reporting and Withholding in our Tax reporting and withholding team, you will translate business needs into clear requirements and validate solutions through hands-on testing and evidence capture. You will partner closely with Technology, Operations, and business stakeholders to confirm calculations, data integrity, and system outputs align with approved requirements. You will help drive timely remediation of defects and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job responsibilities

  • Elicit, document, and maintain business requirements and end-to-end process flows
  • Create and maintain process documentation to support delivery and steady-state operations
  • Develop testing deliverables for new functionality and enhancements, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Execute tests, document results, and produce complete, audit-ready testing evidence
  • Validate data integrity, system outputs, and critical calculations against approved requirements
  • Identify, log, and escalate defects and data-quality concerns, and support triage and remediation activities
  • Coordinate re-testing cycles and confirm resolution outcomes meet defined acceptance criteria
  • Partner with Technology, Operations, and business stakeholders to refine requirements and resolve issues
  • Maintain job aids, procedures, and required supporting documentation
  • Monitor and communicate testing status, risks, and outcomes using standard tracking tools
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency, including process and automation improvements

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience eliciting and documenting business requirements and end-to-end process flows
  • Experience creating and maintaining process documentation in a regulated or control-focused environment
  • Experience designing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts for system changes and enhancements
  • Experience executing tests end-to-end, documenting results, and capturing clear supporting evidence
  • Ability to validate data integrity, system outputs, and calculations against approved requirements
  • Ability to identify, document, and communicate defects and data-quality issues through to resolution
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a changing environment
  • Ability to work independently with limited day-to-day supervision while collaborating effectively in a team

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Knowledge of deposit products and/or deposit operations
  • Experience supporting account opening, customer servicing, or deposit operations platforms
  • Familiarity with tax reporting and withholding processes and related controls
  • Experience with reporting, reconciliation, and/or regulatory-driven processes
  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects or initiatives
  • Exposure to testing governance practices, including evidence standards and audit readiness expectations
