In the past five years, the majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with FCS participation prior to approval.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Job Description Summary:  Under the direction of the Director of Informatics, the Business Analysis (BA) will assist in enabling Data as a service (DaaS), standardized reporting and analytics, and self-service reporting to Florida Cancer Specialists.
  • The BA must be competent to meet with business unit leaders and analysts to elicit data- and reporting-related requirements.
  • The BA will be critical to ensure necessary data and functional and non-functional requirements are documented to enable the Informatics/BI team to operate in an Agile BI Analytics DevOps environment to assist business unit leaders in measuring success. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: - Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, management information systems or another related field.
  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience is required or the equivalent combination for education and experience.
  • Certifications/Licenses: - Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
  • Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
  • Previous Experience - Professional healthcare data related experience within clinical oncology preferred
  • Technical competencies within SQL, query/load required data using data governance, product management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps) and data visualization (e.g. PowerBI) tools
