ABOUT OVERVIEW.AI

Overview.ai is bringing the cutting edge of AI computer vision to manufacturing, solving inspection problems that were previously not solvable with traditional machine vision. We're a full-stack company: we deploy GPU-powered cameras on production lines, run inference on the edge, and operate a platform that supports large fleets of devices deployed across the world.

We're growing extremely fast. Our customers love the product because it works: high accuracy, fast deployment, and an operator-friendly experience that makes real factory rollouts possible, not just pilots.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have product-market fit in North America and demand is accelerating faster than we can reach it. We grew roughly 700% last year and tripled headcount, and the constraint now is finding the real inspection problems hiding inside U.S. manufacturing accounts. This role is not first-touch outreach or meeting-booking. You uncover actual use cases, disqualify early when there is nothing there, and hand qualified opportunities to our Vision Sales Engineers with enough substance that they can run.

WHY THIS ROLE IS EXCITING
  • You are measured on qualification quality, not dials. A good conversation compounds. A bad meeting costs the team, and we manage to that.

  • You will learn how factories actually run: false positives, downtime, scrap, and the cost of a defect reaching a customer. That knowledge is rare and it transfers.

  • You get direct exposure to leadership and real input into how we position and sell into U.S. manufacturing from a LATAM base.

  • Strong BDRs at companies growing this fast do not stay BDRs long. We promote from within.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
  • Target identification: Build and work a list of U.S. manufacturing accounts across automotive suppliers, electronics, industrial OEMs, food and beverage, and other high-volume production environments.

  • Decision-maker mapping: For each account, find the Quality or Engineering owner (Quality Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Operations Lead) and reach them with outreach tailored to inspection problems we have already solved for similar plants.

  • Discovery: Lead with curiosity and get to the real blocker, whether that is cost, downtime, or false positives in their current system. Specifics, not symptoms.

  • Qualification and disqualification: Decide whether an opportunity is real and say so early. Walking away fast is part of the job.

  • Handoff to Vision Sales Engineers: Pass clean, actionable context when a genuine use case exists, then stay in the loop to learn what closed and what did not.

  • HubSpot hygiene: Consistent data, clear activity logs, notes a teammate could pick up cold.

  • Messaging iteration: Test outreach, track what resonates, and bring learnings back to the team. We adjust weekly.

WHO YOU ARERequired
  • Prior outbound sales experience as a BDR, SDR, inside sales rep, or equivalent.

  • Strong phone skills and sound outbound instincts.

  • Fluent, professional-level English, written and verbal. You are the primary voice to U.S. manufacturing prospects.

  • Based in LATAM with the ability to work U.S. business hours consistently, with Eastern or Central time overlap.

  • Comfortable in ambiguity and able to figure things out without close supervision.

  • High curiosity and genuine willingness to learn technical concepts.

  • Able to ask good questions and think critically about whether an opportunity is real.

  • Organized, reliable, and accountable for your own pipeline.

Strong Preferences
  • Manufacturing, SaaS, or technical sales background.

  • Experience selling into or supporting U.S. markets, and familiarity with U.S. industrial business norms.

  • Working knowledge of HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or Nooks.

  • Basic understanding of production processes or quality control.

Preferred locations for time zone overlap: Mexico City, Guadalajara, or Monterrey; Bogotá or Medellín; San José, Costa Rica; Panama City; Buenos Aires (partial Central overlap).

WHY OVERVIEW.AI
  • Extreme growth and real-world impact: We're not building demos. We're deploying AI systems on real production lines, at scale.

  • Talent density: You'll work with world-class engineers and operators across AI, embedded systems, and enterprise deployment.

  • Front-row seat to the AI manufacturing wave: One of the biggest transformations happening in industry right now.

  • Ownership: Your work directly changes the trajectory of the company.

  • Global exposure: You'll work with the most advanced customers and factories in the world.
