Yext is looking for a talented and dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our business development team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the success of our business by accelerating pipeline growth through identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. 

This role requires self-motivation, a high degree of curiosity, a propensity for learning, resiliency, persistence, and a results-driven mindset.  

What You’ll Do

  • Proactively identify and prospect potential new Enterprise customers
  • Leverage tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, and 6Sense to research, target, and engage prospective partners
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies (email, phone, LI, event) to introduce Yext’s products and generate interest from prospective customers
  • Qualify potential customers based on criteria such as business model fit, average annual contract value, and end-customer criteria 
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand each prospect’s goals and capacity to drive demand and support Yext solutions
  • Deliver compelling messaging that articulates the value of becoming a Yext customer and maintain detailed records of outreach and engagement in Salesforce, ensuring visibility and tracking
  • Effectively communicate the value of Yext’s services and solutions to prospects
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Marketing Campaign Managers, Account Executives/Directors, Sales Engineers, Client Success Managers, and other stakeholders 
  • Achieve and exceed targets related to new partner discovery opportunities and meet assigned Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for lead acceptance and lead follow up

What You Have 

  • 6 months -1+ year in a sales development/business development function, or relevant experience in a partner-facing environment
  • Interest in or previous exposure to sales or marketing
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Customer-focused problem-solving mindset
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail and follow through
  • A positive, results-driven attitude with a passion for growth and learning

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.

Annual Base Pay Range
$49,050$98,500 USD
