Essential Job Functions  

Systems Strategy & Roadmap

  • Develop and maintain the multi-year roadmap for WMS, TMS/OTM, and related logistics platforms supporting Consolidation and Fulfillment operations. 
  • Ensure system capabilities align with operational strategies, customer requirements, and business growth objectives. 
  • Identify opportunities to standardize processes, improve system utilization, and reduce operational complexity. 
  • Partner with IT to align business requirements with technology architecture, security, integration, and support standards. 
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance operational capabilities and improve business performance.

Program Delivery & Implementations

  • Provide leadership oversight for system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and major enhancements across Consolidation and Fulfillment operations. 
  • Partner with Operations and IT to establish implementation priorities, governance processes, testing strategies, and deployment readiness plans. 
  • Translate operational requirements into prioritized business capabilities and functional system requirements. 
  • Ensure solutions support inventory accuracy, throughput, visibility, compliance, customer service requirements, and operational efficiency. 
  • Monitor project performance, risks, and outcomes to ensure successful delivery and adoption.

Operational Enablement & Continuous Improvement

  • Serve as the business owner for core logistics systems, accountable for platform performance, usability, adoption, and continuous improvement.  
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to identify, prioritize, and implement system enhancements that improve productivity, quality, and service performance. 
  • Lead investigation and resolution of systemic issues impacting operational performance. 
  • Establish governance processes for enhancement requests, release management, and system change control. 
  • Drive technology-enabled process improvements that support operational excellence and scalability.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, and technology providers supporting logistics platforms. 
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure delivery against contractual commitments, service levels, and project objectives. 
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for significant system-related issues, risks, and operational impacts. 
  • Communicate system strategies, priorities, project status, and risks to business and technology leadership. 
  • Build strong partnerships across Operations, IT, Finance, Customer Solutions, and other functional teams to ensure alignment and execution.

Data, Controls & Risk Management

  • Ensure systems support accurate data capture, reporting, billing integrity, and operational visibility.
  • Partner with Finance, Compliance, and IT to support internal controls, audit requirements, and data governance standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to system performance, scalability, cybersecurity, business continuity, and operational disruption.
  • Support development of system metrics, reporting, and performance measurement tools to drive informed decision-making.

Strategic Leadership & Influence

  • Provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise for business systems supporting Consolidation and Fulfillment operations.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders to align priorities, drive adoption, and achieve operational objectives without direct reporting authority.
  • Establish governance frameworks and operating standards that promote disciplined decision-making and execution.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on system capabilities, technology investments, and operational process improvements.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement through effective use of technology, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience supporting logistics, supply chain, warehouse, transportation, or business systems environments.
  • Experience leading WMS and/or TMS implementations, enhancements, or optimization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse, fulfillment, and transportation operations.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.
  • Experience partnering with vendors, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and drive results without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Consolidation, Fulfillment, 3PL, retail, or distribution environments preferred.
  • Experience with leading WMS, TMS, or logistics technology platforms preferred.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred.
  • Travel - 25%

Salary: $100,000 - $117,000/year base salary + Bonus and Equity Eligibility 

This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however it may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand.
