Job Summary

This role is within CG's IT Enterprise Applications function. The IT Manager of the Subscriptions Business Systems plays a critical role in driving company growth in Subscription Services and Recurring Revenue. This role will (i) collaborate with business stakeholders, understand business processes, and elicit, define, and analyze requirements; (ii) design, configure, develop, test, implement, support, and maintain applications that enable business processes, focused on Subscriptions Management/Zuora and related applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand business processes, gaps, pain points, and objectives; elicit, define, and analyze requirements.

  • Lead and manage a team of technical and functional resources to design, configure, implement, and support applications that enable Subscription Management and Recurring Revenue business processes on the Zuora platform and other integrated applications such as SAP ECC, SAP Commerce, Salesforce.com, and myQ.

  • Provide functional, administrative and technical expertise on integrating Zuora with related applications, including knowledge of Zuora’s REST APIs.

  • Create and modify Zuora Workflows and Zuora document templates.

  • Responsible for the design and configuration of the Zuora application.

  • Lead and collaborate with colleagues to define and design proposed solutions that meet requirements and adhere to platform and application design guidelines, strategies, and industry best practices

  • Manage application developers to create functional and technical specifications for custom development that adheres to design guidelines.

  • Collaborate with Super Users to create test cases for end-to-end business processes and system functions, ensuring traceability and coverage of requirements; execute tests; facilitate Super User test execution; analyze and resolve defects.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to create documentation and training materials; support training delivery and organizational change management.

  • Manage the support of production systems; proactively work to analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner; resolve end user service requests; independently execute production support processes including identification of issue severity, root cause, and priority.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage applications to improve business processes, and support business re- engineering efforts. Research and represent industry best practices.

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

  • Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members

  • Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies

  • Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications

  • Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CGI mission, vision and values.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 9+ years experience in Information Technology, preferably applications development or configuration.

  • 5+ years experience administering, configuring, and supporting Zuora Billing or equivalent subscriptions management systems.

  • At least one full lifecycle implementation of ZUORA platform for a BU.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of subscription management and recurring billing business processes.

  • Strong skills in systems analysis, problem analysis, troubleshooting, and technical error resolution.

  • Strong working knowledge of software development lifecycles and quality control.

Other:

  • Able to travel occasionally domestically.

Preferred Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science

Experience:

  • Experience working with business processes related to end-to-end Quote-to-Cash business processes, from sales quoting to revenue recognition and cash application.

  • Experience with other Zuora products, including Zuora CPQ, Zuora Collect, and Zuora Revenue.

The pay range for this position is $97,700.00 - $184,175.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
