ZS's Digital and Technology group focuses on driving end to end Digital Transformation that includes Digital Strategy, Human centered Design, exploiting emerging technologies, and purposeful change management to improve customer and company results. The types of solutions include Digital Strategy and Advisory services, end to end Transformation Management, Enterprise Data, Analytics and AI, Intelligent Automation, reimagining business processes with digital first lens and building Digital Products, Solutions and Digital Platforms leveraging Big Data Technologies, AI/ML and Advance Analytics, Digital Platform configuration and integrations. We provide a complete spectrum of technology solutions, from strategy and roadmap definition to full scale implementation and on-going operations. Our team possesses deep expertise in leading digital transformation, enterprise data analytics and AI, Data science and advanced analytics and building end to end digital.
What You'll Do
1. Client Engagement & Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders across business and technology teams
• Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders (Director-VP level)
• Lead client discussions, workshops, and executive presentations with clear articulation of technical solutions
• Translate business priorities into scalable technology solutions and roadmaps
• Proactively identify opportunities for value creation, efficiency gains, and innovation (including AI-led transformation)

2. Communication & Stakeholder Alignment

• Drive structured, clear, and executive-ready communication across all levels
• Facilitate alignment between business, data, and engineering teams (onshore/offshore)
• Own status reporting, risk communication, and escalation management
• Simplify complex technical concepts into business-impact narratives

3. Technical Leadership - Azure & Databricks

• Lead architecture and delivery for modern data platforms on Azure, including:
• Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure OpenAI
• Design and implement lakehouse architectures using Databricks
• Oversee development of:
• Scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT, Spark, Delta Lake)
• Data products and enterprise data models
• Ensure best practices in:
• Data governance, quality, observability, and performance optimization

4. Agentic AI & AI-led Transformation

• Lead design and implementation of Agentic AI solutions leveraging enterprise data platforms
• Work with frameworks involving:
• Multi-agent orchestration, knowledge layers, and vector-based retrieval mechanisms
• Databricks Mosaic AI / Genie spaces for AI-driven analytics and automation
• Identify and execute AI use cases such as:
• Intelligent data querying
• Process automation
• Decision support systems
• Partner with clients to build AI strategy, governance, and adoption roadmap

5. Delivery Leadership & Team Management

• Lead end-to-end project delivery (solutioning through production)
• Manage cross-functional teams (data engineers, architects, analysts)
• Drive agile delivery, sprint planning, and execution tracking
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in engineering and consulting skills

6. Innovation & Thought Leadership

• Contribute to AI-led delivery accelerators and reusable frameworks
• Support proposal development and solutioning for strategic client opportunities
• Stay at the forefront of cloud, data, and AI trends, especially in:
• Azure ecosystem
• Databricks platform
• Agentic AI capabilities

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business or Life Sciences.
• 10+ years of experience in business technology consulting, data engineering, or platform architecture
• • Strong expertise in:
  • Azure (ADF, ADLS, Azure OpenAI)
  • Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog)
  • Experience with:
  • Data engineering frameworks (Python, SQL, PySpark)
  • Data architecture (lakehouse, medallion architectures)
  • Exposure to Agentic AI / GenAI ecosystems, including:
  • LLM orchestration frameworks
  • Vector databases and retrieval systems
  • Multi-agent systems / AI copilots
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and leading delivery teamsHands-on experience delivering enterprise-scale data & AI solutions
• Ability to work with cross functional teams, both in US and India

• Fluency in English is required

Travel:
Travel is a requirement at ZS for client facing ZSers; business needs of your project and client are the priority. While some projects may be local, all client-facing ZSers should be prepared to travel as needed.
