Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will drive business unit performance by managing key performance indicators, allocating resources effectively, and fostering employee engagement and development. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for innovation and cost control, and support the growth of frontline leaders. Through strong communication and collaboration, you will coordinate across all organizational levels, present operational strategies to plant and corporate leadership, and help achieve business objectives while building a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe workplace by maintaining compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and company safety policies.
  • Oversee adherence to all food safety, quality, and environmental standards, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point, Safe Quality Food, and Relevant Business Initiatives requirements.
  • Lead business unit team performance and facilitate Daily Direction Setting meetings to ensure operational goals and priorities are clearly communicated.
  • Translate issues identified during Daily Direction Setting meetings into actionable daily plans and monitor execution through feedback and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate Weekly Daily Management System meetings to review operational trends, identify improvement opportunities, and establish measurable objectives.
  • Conduct Monthly Business Unit Reviews, prepare performance reports, analyze results, and share best practices across business units.
  • Use data analysis to develop and execute ninety-day performance plans, track progress, and adjust strategies to achieve operational targets.
  • Manage training and competency validation programs to ensure team members remain qualified and compliant with standards.
  • Partner with Research & Development to support production line enhancements and new product launches.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on investigations, corrective actions, and employee relations matters.
  • Monitor ingredient usage and labor performance to support plant standards and product quality objectives.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to meet production requirements and support plant goals.
  • Partner with plant leadership to secure resources, resolve operational issues, and promote ongoing development opportunities for team members.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Food industry experience preferred.
  • Experience using digital tools and systems to analyze data and support operational decision-making.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team development skills.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and managing operational performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating across multiple functions to achieve business objectives.

Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation 

Annual Base Salary: $82,000.00 - $110,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
