ABOUT THE ROLE
This internship provides a truly hands-on experience in new business development for students interested in building a successful sales career. You will receive extensive training on commodities, the energy industry, account management, and new business development while working directly with commercial and industrial customers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Drive new business relationships: Generate opportunities through prospecting and outbound business development.
Manage the sales process: Work directly with customers from prospecting through contracting.
Deliver customized solutions: Help commercial and industrial customers find natural gas and power solutions that meet their needs.
Develop pricing knowledge: Learn profitability management and product pricing strategies.
Build customer relationships: Communicate professionally through calls, email, and customer interactions.
Collaborate with a winning team: Work in a motivating, fast-paced environment that encourages growth and development.
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
Hands-on experience in professional B2B sales and business development

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Sophomores, incoming juniors, juniors, or incoming seniors
Business major preferred with a 3.0 GPA
High attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
Comfort communicating professionally by phone and email
Independent, highly motivated, and competitive mindset
Sales experience is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Office

Salary Range:
$31,200.00 - $62,400.00*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
This role is also eligible for an uncapped sales commission.
