BrightEdge is continuing to scale a world-class Sales Development Team to help expand our customer portfolio. This role will be responsible for college recruiting, specifically for Sales Development Representatives, who are responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and setting new customers demos for the Senior Sales Team to close.
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales leadership to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team culture.
- Source and attract top college graduates and early career talent for SDR positions through campus events, career fairs, job postings, and networking.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from initial outreach to offer acceptance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with university career centers, faculty, and student organizations.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidates for skills, cultural fit, and potential.
- Provide timely updates and feedback to candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.
- Track and report on recruiting metrics to ensure hiring goals are met.
What it takes to be Successful
- 1–2 years of experience in college recruiting, preferably for sales or high-volume entry-level roles.
- Strong understanding of sales roles and the qualities that make a candidate successful in a sales environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about creating a positive candidate experience and promoting BrightEdge’s brand on campus.
