Ensure security, disaster recovery, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues; familiarity with other NoSQL and RDBMS technologies is a plus.

- Cassandra Administrator: As a Cassandra Database Administrator you will be responsible for
- assisting with the design, implementation, and on-going support of Cassandra operational
- data.
- 5+ years of solid Cassandra DBA experience in managing critical 24/7 applications
- Hands-on experience with Cassandra database hosted on Amazon cloud is a must.
- Setup Nodes, Work on foundations, data models, etc • Implement a Cassandra Database in
- an enterprise, Design and Support data migration.
- Cassandra database administration on a multi-datacenter cluster. Must have hands-on
- experience in setting up Cassandra cluster.
- Must have experience in monitoring, performance tuning and managing Cassandra cluster.
- Strong understanding of complex inner workings of Cassandra, such as the gossip protocol,
- hinted handoffs, read repairs, Merkle trees.
- In depth knowledge of architecting and creating Cassandra/no SQL database systems.
- Solid understanding of No SQL Database
- Solid experience in writing Cassandra queries, materialized views
- Expert in data structure design, Data Modelling in Cassandra
- Expert in performance tuning
- Solid experience in solr
- Experience in handling big data
- Knowledge experience with other NoSQL (MongoDB) and RDBMS database technologies

- Proven experience with identifying hardware and software related issues.
- A deep understanding of Cassandra design principals, cluster connectivity, security and the
- factors that affect distributed system performance.
- Expert experience with at least one of the following languages; perl, python, java, spark or
- bash.
- Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
