Department OverviewThe Motorola Solutions Channel and Services Team empowers our customers to identify and unleash the full power of their PCR products and services. We build strong relationships with our Channel Partners to promote their full adoption of Motorola products and services, including growing their ongoing use, value realization and product satisfaction. Job Description
The Channel Engagement Manager (CEM) serves as a critical link between the company and its channel partners in the Western Territory, managing and supporting their needs across sales, technical, and operational aspects. This role involves active participation in strategic projects, issue resolution, and ensuring partner success.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for channel partners and dealers, managing relationships to support their business needs.
Initiate and coordinate internal resources, including Technical Support and Engineering, to resolve partner and customer issues and support open cases.
Sales and Project Facilitation:
Collaborate with dealers on pre-sales activities, such as drafting and finalizing Statements of Work (SOW) and design plans for end customers.
Facilitate the quoting processes with COEE if needed, including discussing subscriber type and quantity with channel partners for project upgrades.
Work with partners and end customers on project execution, including discussing technical requirements by facilitating engineering design discussions.
Keep the Sales team apprised of activity related to issues outside their awareness.
Account and System Issue Resolution:
Actively follow up and work with internal teams (e.g., Customer Master Data Team, IT, Subscription Mgmt., WAVE Support,) to address partner and end-user issues related to accounts, product licensing (e.g., WAVE devices), payment terms (e.g., NET 30), and inconsistencies across internal systems (OM, CDM, Greenfield, Partner Hub)
On-site Project Coordination and Compliance:
Coordinate on-site activities and logistics for major post sale support projects, including communicating with customer site leadership and internal teams.
Ensure third-party vendors (e.g., tower crews) meet customer site-specific safety training requirements.
Develop and communicate project plans, responsibility matrices, and communication plans with partners and customers.
Keep relevant internal teams and management informed of project status and critical issues.
Target Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
