The Boeing CompanyBoeing Test and Evaluation is searching for an Experimental Test Pilot to take the role of Chief Pilot, T-7 and join our team in Berkeley, MO or Edwards AFB, CA. In this role you will lead a team of highly talented test pilots in support of T-7A flight test and production in multiple locations.
Position Responsibilities:
Operates aircraft and manages test pilots and first-level managers performing aircrew duties, including activities to prepare for and conduct safe test flight operations; applies crew resource management principles to the operation of aircraft
Performs and manages activities to plan, conduct and evaluate ground and test flights
Leads aircrew activities to support design efforts
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops, trains and evaluates test pilots and first-level managers
Job requires FAA ATP or Commercial certificate with the appropriate endorsements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience supporting a military flight test program
10+ years of experience in military tactical aviation
Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements
Current FAA Class II medical certificate or must have the ability to obtain one
Ability to pass the U.S. Air Force water survival and physiology training
Test Pilot School (TPS) Graduate
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in aircraft production operations
Current and qualified in the T-7A or similar tactical training aircraft

Shift:
