POSITION SUMMARY
The Claims Process Improvement Lead is responsible for the implementation of new projects in the Claims Distribution and Repricing Department. The Claims Process Improvement Lead will coordinate and ensure delivery of project deliverables on time. The Claims Process Improvement Lead must be knowledgeable of systems and programs. The Claims Process Improvement Lead will gather information on processes used by Claims Distribution and Repricing department to find ways to improve or enhance internal processes and workflows.The Claims Process Improvement Lead will communicate recommendations to Claim Distribution and Repricing Management for Workflow and SOP improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead department related projects: Including project initiation, project timelines, meetings, and on-going communications with internal and external stakeholders
- Work with department Leadership to understand current operations and procedures. Provide suggestions to optimize systems, procedures, and processes
- Acts as a primary point of contact for department project implementation and communicates project-related updates internally and externally
- Provide guidance to optimize systems, procedures, and processes

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Previous experience managing large amounts of data with an understanding on how to process that data
- Strong analytical skills to help improve Workflows and SOPs
- Experience Smartsheet, SharePoint and Excel required
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge of databases and software systems
- Ability to collect and analyze complex data.
