Role Summary

The Client Expansion Director drives revenue growth within existing client accounts. This role identifies, develops, and closes upsell and cross-sell opportunities while increasing lifetime client value.

Primary Objective

Grow existing accounts by increasing revenue, deepening solution adoption, and expanding multi-service engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Growth
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies.
  • Identify new departments, stakeholders, and budget centers.
  • Increase lifetime value through structured expansion planning.
  • Revenue Generation
  • Own and achieve upsell and cross-sell quotas.
  • Develop and present expansion proposals.
  • Lead solution positioning in complex environments.
  • Executive Relationship Development
  • Build C-suite and senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Conduct growth-focused business reviews.
  • Align solutions to client strategic priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Digital, Data and Delivery teams.
  • Coordinate resources to support expansion initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning & Analytics
  • Leverage performance data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrate ROI and future opportunity modeling.

Skills & Experience

  • 8–12 years in client services or business development.
  • Proven success closing digital and performance-based sales.
  • Strong executive communication skills.
  • Data fluency and analytical capability.
  • Experience in multi-service B2B environments.
