Client Services Coordinator (Remote, US)
FoodChain ID is expanding our Certification team and looking for an organized, customer-focused Client Services Coordinator to join us in Fairfield, Iowa.
In this role, you’ll manage an assigned portfolio of certification clients and coordinate the certification process from application through audit and certificate issuance. You’ll be a key point of contact for customers, auditors, and internal teams—keeping projects moving, solving problems, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
What You’ll Do- Coordinate certification activities from application through certificate issuance
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders
- Schedule audits and proactively manage certification timelines and deadlines
- Coordinate audit reviews, corrective actions, and certification decisions
- Maintain accurate client documentation and records across business systems
- Identify potential delays or risks and proactively drive solutions
- Provide timely, professional communication on certification status and next steps
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of GFSI-recognized certification programs, such as SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000, or similar
- 1+ year of experience in customer service, project coordination, administrative support, certification, quality assurance, or a related field
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, accountable, and customer-focused approach
