The Client Solutions Architect serves as a strategic technical advisor and trusted partner to Coretek’s customers. This role is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud and modern workplace architectures—primarily leveraging Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, EUC/VDI technologies, and Coretek’s managed service offerings. The Client Solutions Architect works closely with clients, account teams, and delivery engineers to translate business requirements into actionable solutions and guide successful project execution.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities

- Partner with clients to understand business goals, technical requirements, compliance considerations, and operational challenges.

- Design secure and efficient cloud, infrastructure, and end-user compute solutions that align to Coretek architecture standards and best practices.

- Lead discovery workshops, technical assessments, roadmap planning, and strategy sessions with CIO, CTO, and IT leadership stakeholders.

- Produce high-quality solution documentation including conceptual designs, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and cost estimates.

- Collaborate with Coretek Sales and Delivery teams to support pre-sales scoping, level of effort estimates, statements of work, and proposals.

- Provide technical oversight during project delivery to ensure solutions meet defined architecture, performance, and security objectives.

- Advise on modernization strategies such as data center exit, cloud migration, identity and access modernization, Zero Trust, and EUC transformation.

- Stay current with Microsoft cloud capabilities, licensing programs, and emerging technologies to guide client innovation and adoption.

- Support development of repeatable solution offerings, templates, and best-practice frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud architecture, systems engineering, or a related technical field.

- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing solutions in Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365.

- Strong understanding of identity and access management (Azure AD/Entra ID), networking, governance, backup/recovery, and security best practices.

- Experience with one or more of the following:

* VDI technologies (Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon, Citrix)

* Data center migration and modernization

* Enterprise storage and virtualization platforms

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead discussions with both technical and executive

stakeholders.

- Ability to translate business objectives into clear technical strategies and implementation plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Microsoft Certifications such as:

* AZ-305 / AZ-700 / AZ-500

* MS-102 / SC-100

- Experience working for a systems integrator, MSP, or cloud consulting partner.

- Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, or enterprise change management frameworks.

- Experience supporting RFP responses and pre-sales engineering engagements.
