About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Program Manager to own strategic customer relationships and lead clinical programs that deliver measurable value. This role combines clinical and operational expertise with commercial accountability: driving adoption and program performance, retaining and renewing customer accounts, and partnering with Sales to grow existing relationships. Each Clinical Program Manager carries an assigned commercial target for their portfolio.

The Clinical Program Manager joins the account team before contract execution to align on customer goals, success measures, and delivery expectations. They own the customer relationship and coordinate delivery against defined milestones and commitments, including workflow activation, user readiness, and program performance. This role develops deep expertise in our products and capabilities to proactively anticipate customer pain points, identify barriers to adoption, and drive efficient, effective use of our solutions. They provide continuity through adoption, ongoing optimization, renewal, and expansion as customer needs and opportunities evolve.

This is a highly strategic, consultative, cross-functional role with direct accountability for account health and commercial outcomes. Clinical Program Managers know their accounts deeply, partner with Service Design on customer strategy and clinical workflow solutions, and bring together the right internal expertise while remaining the consistent customer owner.

What you'll do
  • Lead clinical programs and customer engagement. Own a portfolio of customer relationships, building trust with clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders. Translate customer goals into actionable account strategies, milestones, success measures, and coordinated plans.
  • Drive workflow activation and clinical adoption. Work with Service Design and customer teams to understand clinical pathways and workflows, coordinate solution activation, prepare users, support change management and training plans, and address barriers to sustained adoption.
  • Deliver and demonstrate value. Track utilization, program performance, customer commitments, and agreed-upon outcomes. Identify gaps, coordinate corrective action, and communicate progress and recommendations clearly to customer stakeholders.
  • Continuously optimize the experience. Stay close to clinicians and other users to understand friction and evolving needs. Partner with Service Design, Support, Product, Medical, and Analytics to improve workflows, user experience, and program impact over time.
  • Own retention and account growth. Own retention, renewals, and commercial performance. Be accountable for retaining and renewing assigned accounts and delivering against an assigned commercial target. Develop renewal plans, manage commercial risks, maintain accurate forecasts, and proactively address issues that could threaten retention or growth.
  • Drive expansion alongside Sales. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities grounded in customer needs and demonstrated value. Build stakeholder support and shape expansion plans with Sales, contributing to opportunity development, commercial discussions, and close.
  • Coordinate delivery and communication. Maintain clear account plans, milestones, decisions, risks, and follow-up actions. Orchestrate internal contributors and ensure customers experience one coordinated Linus team, with timely escalation and resolution of issues.
  • Bring clinical and customer insight back to Linus. Surface recurring workflow barriers, clinical needs, and customer feedback to help inform product, service, and experience strategy.
What Excellence Looks Like

A successful Clinical Program Manager builds customer relationships that deliver measurable value, sustain adoption, drive retention, and create opportunities for growth.

They anticipate needs rather than react, come prepared, follow through on commitments, identify friction early, and bring thoughtful recommendations rather than simply problems. They hold themselves and the broader Linus team to a high standard.

At any point, they can answer: What is this customer trying to accomplish? Are we accomplishing it? How do we know? What is getting in the way? What should we do next?

The role requires sound judgment: knowing when to solve directly, when to engage an expert, when a problem signals a broader strategic issue, and when learning from one customer should improve the experience for many.

About you
  • 7+ years Clinical training or substantial experience in healthcare delivery, clinical operations, or clinical program management; backgrounds in nursing, medicine, allied health, or related fields are strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading complex healthcare programs or customer relationships across clinicians, administrators, operational leaders, and technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, clinician adoption, and organizational change; experience with digital health or cognitive assessment technologies is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into concrete deliverables, track outcomes, and solve problems across teams.
  • Strong communication, consultative judgment, and executive-level relationship skills.
  • Commercial acumen and willingness to own customer retention and expansion; direct renewal or account-growth experience is valuable but not required for candidates with strong clinical program leadership.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed (Up to 30%)

The expected base salary range for this position is $125,000–$140,000 annually. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for equity, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits, unlimited PTO, a monthly flex day, and a 401(k) plan with an employer match.

Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills, professional experience, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. The final offer may vary based on these factors.
