Miami or New York. Our team develops and operates the cloud platforms, distributed systems, and infrastructure that
power research, simulations, AI workloads, and data-intensive applications across the firm. We build the services and
abstractions that allow researchers and engineers to efficiently leverage large-scale compute, storage, and cloud
resources. This role is focused on building scalable, reliable infrastructure and platform services that improve the
efficiency, usability, and performance of some of the firm's most critical systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build cloud-native platform services and distributed systems supporting research, AI, and data-intensive workloads
- Build abstractions, APIs, and automation that simplify cloud resource management for researchers and
- engineers
- Design and operate large-scale compute, storage, and networking infrastructure across cloud environments
- Improve observability, performance, resiliency, and operational excellence across critical infrastructure platforms
- Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to translate requirements into scalable production systems
- Contribute to platform architecture, deployment automation, and infrastructure lifecycle management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience building and operating large-scale cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, or platform services
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, C++, or similar languages, with a demonstrated ability to build production software
- Experience developing cloud-native systems and infrastructure on platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (GCP experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, Linux, networking fundamentals, and large-scale production systems
- Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, or modern platform engineering practices
