Job Title: CMM Programmer

Hours: 1st shift (flex start time)

Location: Hanover Park, IL

Hourly Rate: $35-40 an hour

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience programming CMM’s
  • Familiarity with Zeiss Calypso software
  • Ability to read and interpret blue-prints and have a strong working knowledge of GD&T
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills
  • Experience with manual inspection devices such as; micrometers, bore, thread, profilometers and pin gauges..etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong math skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write and revise CMM programs based on engineering drawings and models
  • Work on Metrology related projects
  • Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve measurement related issues
  • Help troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance and OEM
  • Collaborate with other programmers implementing best practices
  • Support production
