Citi is looking for a Lead Analyst, Acquisition Strategy & Performance Analytics to sit at the heart of its Cards Acquisitions business, translating complex performance data into strategies that directly shape how Citi expands its cobrand credit card portfolio. In this role, you will own end-to-end performance management and analytics for high-profile cobrand partnerships (e.g., American Airlines), working across Product, Channel Management, Risk, Finance, and external partners to ensure acquisition strategies are informed, optimized, and delivered with precision. You will also lead special projects focused on new channels and capabilities, giving you direct influence over the future direction of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze acquisition performance KPIs using tools including Adobe Analytics and Tableau, translating large volumes of data into clear, actionable insights that inform channel and investment strategy.
  • Develop and maintain an acquisition performance dashboard, working with channel managers to evolve reporting methods and surface meaningful trends that guide business decisions.
  • Deliver weekly performance updates that identify risks and opportunities against plan, driving the right conversations across teams to close gaps before they escalate.
  • Track and evaluate key financial metrics across the acquisition marketing investment — including marketing expenses and acquisition incentives — to align spending with performance outcomes and identify opportunities to improve returns.
  • Prepare high-impact presentations for senior leadership and external partner business reviews, synthesizing cross-functional data into clear findings and recommendations.
  • Coordinate the monthly marketing initiatives roadmap and test-and-learn plan in partnership with acquisition channel teams, ensuring results are captured and shared across the business.
  • Partner with the competitive insights team to compile and interpret market intelligence, using findings to sharpen acquisition strategy and identify areas for differentiation.

Required qualifications & skills

  • 6–10 years of experience in financial services or marketing, with a strong focus on program management and performance analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and delivery quality under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Analytics and Tableau, with the ability to use these tools to build dashboards, analyze trends, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to produce polished, senior-ready outputs.
  • Broad knowledge of P&Ls, marketing investment management, and the ability to connect financial metrics to strategic decisions.
  • Exemplary communication and presentation skills, with confidence presenting to senior leadership and external partners across a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated success managing internal and external partnerships, including the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and negotiate complex workstreams.

Beneficial skills & qualifications

  • Experience in the credit card industry, with familiarity with co-brand or co-marketing acquisition models.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Finance, or Analytics.
  • Experience leading competitive analysis and translating market intelligence into strategic recommendations.

At Citi, you will work in a performance-driven environment where your analytical thinking and strategic input directly shape business outcomes at scale. This role offers genuine ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to influence how one of the world's leading financial institutions grows its card acquisition business.

  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and high-profile external partnerships, with regular opportunities to present your work and influence strategic decisions.
  • The chance to lead special projects focused on new acquisition channels and capabilities, putting you at the forefront of business innovation.
