Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Build scenario-based models across commercial levers — including pricing, base cost, margin, and compensation — to quantify financial impact and inform annual planning and in-year strategy.

  • Support the design and continuous improvement of reporting processes and business definitions to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.

  • Contribute to commercial AI and analytics initiatives — including the evaluation, piloting, and adoption of AI-enabled tools to enhance forecasting, pricing, and reporting workflows.

  • Track and report on modeled-vs-actual performance throughout the fiscal year, giving leadership consistent visibility into projected versus realized outcomes.

  • Conduct year-over-year and run-rate analyses across the commercial portfolio, translating results into clear recommendations for sales and commercial leadership.

  • Develop moderately complex reports and queries for sales management.  Measure the trends, efficiencies and effectiveness of sales and resource allocation and utilization.

  • Collaborate with Sales, IS and Finance to develop, create and maintain reporting requirements and ensure systems provide accurate and timely data.

Required Experience:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics or Applied Statistics.

Work Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales analysis. Additional - Ability to successfully apply standard financial, accounting and business problem-solving skills to business problems with multiple variables.

  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with data tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Power Query, Tableau/PowerBI or Python.

  • Strong ability to translate complex data logic into clear business narratives for both analysts and executive stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to manage large datasets and competing priorities.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$67,000.00 - $101,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
