In This Role

As a Social Media Manager for a major gaming franchise, you will play a key part in shaping the social voice and community experience across multiple high‑visibility channels. You’ll lead content planning, creative execution, community engagement, and performance reporting for both Consumer Products initiatives and a large Spanish‑language social channel. This role blends creativity with data‑driven strategy and requires strong collaboration across marketing, product, and creative teams. You’ll help drive awareness, elevate creator and community stories, and ensure social content aligns with broader brand goals.

ResponsibilitiesSocial Strategy & Planning
  • Lead social strategy and execution for Consumer Products partnerships and Spanish‑language channels, aligning all content with the franchise’s broader brand voice and marketing objectives.
  • Develop social content calendars, campaign approaches, and channel‑specific strategies tailored to Spanish‑speaking audiences.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with marketing, product, integrated teams, and stakeholders to understand priorities, timelines, and KPIs, translating them into effective social plans.
  • Act as a strategic bridge between business goals and creative execution, helping shape briefs and providing guidance to creative partners.
Content Creation & Execution
  • Manage day‑to‑day social operations: content planning, scheduling, drafting copy, publishing, and community engagement.
  • Craft culturally relevant, platform‑specific content that resonates with gaming communities.
  • Create, curate, and elevate content—highlighting creators, UGC, community moments, and Consumer Products stories.
  • Ensure tone consistency and brand alignment across all channels.
Community Engagement & Moderation
  • Engage authentically with players, creators, partners, and brands across social platforms.
  • Support light moderation tasks as needed to maintain a positive and inclusive community environment.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
  • Track social performance across channels, providing insights and data‑driven recommendations.
  • Contribute to performance dashboards, campaign recaps, and ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Use data storytelling to demonstrate content impact and inform future planning.
Trend Awareness & Cultural Insight
  • Maintain a strong pulse on social trends, gaming culture, creator ecosystems, and emerging platform behaviors.
  • Identify opportunities to authentically connect cultural moments to the brand and Consumer Products offerings.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working for a major game publisher or in the gaming sector.
  • Native Spanish speaker or equivalent full fluency (5+ years).
  • 3–5 years of experience in social media strategy, goal setting, campaign execution, and performance optimization—ideally for Spanish‑speaking audiences.
  • Proven track record managing high‑volume social media channels for well‑known gaming publishers, gaming hardware companies, or similar organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of modern social platforms, trends, audience behaviors, and content best practices.
  • Competence with Office 365 and social analytics tools (Sprinklr or native platform analytics preferred).
  • Strong social copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills, able to translate metrics into insights.
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional partners without formal authority.
  • Familiarity with or experience in the Minecraft community is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience contributing to or managing social content for a major gaming franchise.
  • Hands‑on experience with creator/UGC communities and gaming culture trends.
  • A creative portfolio or examples of social strategies, campaigns, or content work.
  • Understanding of cultural moments and how to integrate them effectively into social content.

Compensation Information:

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.

For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $81,000 to $87,000 annually. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
