In this role you will partner with HR, Finance, Sales Ops, and business leaders to ensure our compensation programs are fair, competitive, scalable, and aligned with business strategy.

  • Job Evaluation: Review and analyze survey data and internal metrics to slot new jobs into appropriate job families and levels.

  • Compliance: Ensure compensation practices comply with applicable laws and regulations (e.g. FLSA, pay transparency).

  • Data Management & Communication: Maintain accurate compensation data in HR systems (e.g. job codes, salary structures, bonus info). Standardize and maintain compensation communication materials, templates, and trainings.

  • Annual Compensation Review: Support the annual broad-based compensation review by preparing data, analysis, and tools that enable managers to make informed, equitable pay decisions.

  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to HR business partners, recruiters, and business leaders; provide clear compensation recommendations, resolve disputes, and influence decisions.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve compensation programs and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of compensation experience, preferably in SaaS, biotech, life sciences, or other high-growth, performance-driven environments.

  • Strong knowledge of compensation fundamentals including market benchmarking, job architecture and leveling, sales and broad-based incentive design, and stock-based compensation.

  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects with tight deadlines

  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel / Google Sheets knowledge

  • Clear and confident communicator, with experience working with and influencing HR partners, sales operations, finance, and senior business leadership

  • Self motivated, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and making decisions with imperfect data
