LaunchSquad Account Managers are experienced communications program leaders. They have experience planning, prioritizing and leading across four plus teams in a variety of consumer and lifestyle verticals including but not limited to: healthcare, finance, consumer tech and lifestyle brands.
They use their experience and expertise to guide the day-to-day direction of account teams, provide recommendations to clients and make strategic work decisions. They actively contribute to the work - often taking responsibility for the most challenging or innovative program goals. They are skilled teachers and coaches and establish consistent guidelines for work standards and expectations at an individual and team level. They have an eye for quality work and lead by example to deliver program results to clients.
They work directly with senior team members on agency activities like teaching and coaching talent and pitching new work on new or existing accounts. They love the work they do and are committed to learning and growing their skills alongside teams every day.
Requirements
- 6+ years of public relations experience at an agency or start-up technology/d2c company with at least two years of program development and team management experience
- Experience developing key messaging and positioning statements for emerging products or companies, especially in consumer products / lifestyle brands
- Seasoned plan writer with a knack for translating big ideas into program objectives and priorities; advanced writing and editing skills
- Capable project manager across several distinct teams or large-scale projects
- Media relations expert
- Effective teacher, coach and talent developer with direct, transparent and inclusive interpersonal communication skills
- Track-record of sustained, quality work in fast-paced environments
- A portfolio of work that exemplifies original ideas, expert execution and strategic communication
Salary & Benefits
- Account Manager salary range is $85,000 - 100,000 depending on experience
