About MVP One

MVP One is a leader in B2B SaaS solutions for asset-intensive industries, helping maintenance teams streamline workflows, reduce downtime, and get more out of their people and equipment. Our platform has helped customers achieve measurable results, including an 83% reduction in downtime and a 41% reduction in maintenance costs, and we're looking for someone who can turn results like that into stories our audience can't ignore.

About the Role

We're looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to own the craft of turning real customer outcomes, product depth, and subject-matter expertise into content that actually moves people, not just fills a content calendar. You'll report directly to our Marketing Manager, work closely with our sales, product, and leadership teams, and have real ownership over how MVP One's story gets told across email, web, blog, and long-form formats.

This is a hands-on writing and editing role. We're looking for someone who does the work of original storytelling: interviewing real people, digging into real product capabilities, and crafting content in an authentic, distinct voice, rather than someone whose primary content experience comes from AI-assisted generation or templated recaps. If you love the reporting and research side of writing as much as the writing itself, this role is built for you.

What You Will Do

  • Interview internal subject matter experts and customers to develop compelling, original case studies and long-form content.
  • Write and edit high-quality B2B content, including email campaigns, website pages, blog posts, white papers, case studies, paid ads, and sales enablement materials.
  • Translate technical product capabilities into clear, customer-focused messaging that addresses real-world maintenance and operations challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to support lead generation, nurturing, and customer education efforts.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and brand voice across all written materials.
  • Support SEO and content optimization efforts in partnership with marketing stake holders.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience creating original B2B marketing content, ideally in a technology or related industry.
  • A genuine passion for writing and storytelling, not just producing content. You should be as energized by a good customer interview as by the final published piece.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, engaging way.
  • Experience writing for email, web, and long-form formats such as white papers or case studies.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and marketing tools.

What We Offer

  • Full-time salaried position of $70,000 to $80,000, based on experience
  • Hybrid schedule in-office Wednesday and Thursday (Thursday can flex as needed), based at our office right in the Loop
  • Direct mentorship from a marketing leader with 15+ years of agency and consulting experience, plus an open-door relationship with company leadership
  • Company-funded ongoing education and credentialing opportunities to help you grow your craft
  • Comprehensive health benefits package (health, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance)
  • Paid time off, including several holidays and floating holidays
  • Parental leave
  • Transit benefit program
  • Company meetups for all employees to connect in person and virtually
  • Competitive Traditional & Roth 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
  • Fitness center access in office building
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture
