Job Summary

This position is responsible for drafting account-specific documents. Training less experienced staff on production procedures; and participating in the peer review process.
Responsibilities
*Overview: Responsible for the drafting, filing, production and delivery cycle, while meeting performance metrics (e.g., ensuring that work product is accurate, aligns to regulatory filing guidance, timelines, benefit intent, meets compliance standards and is digestible). Support initiatives for documentation clean up, enhancement and maintenance.
*Preparedness: Be prepared to review and discuss all projects, meetings, statuses, trainings, etc., during each 1:1 meeting with manager (as applicable). Meet deadlines, and tasks; ability to prioritize effectively and manage time to meet milestones and deadlines.
*Stakeholder Management: Respond in a timely, through and professional manner to internal/external stakeholders. Escalate any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner – document and track escalations through resolution, while reporting status to team.
*CORE: Adhere to all BDA and HCSC Policies and Procedures. Consistently and effectively demonstrate CORE behaviors. Serve as a role model of CORE excellence for peers.
*Other Assigned Responsibilities
In addition to the specific duties outlined in your job description, you may be required to perform other responsibilities as assigned by management. These additional tasks are essential to the overall functioning and success of the organization and may vary based on operational needs.
This is a Hybrid role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
 Bachelor degree or 4 years work experience in a position involving independent judgment and initiative.
 Experience and skills in drafting standard or customized group health contracts or booklet documents with minimal guidance of up to 10 paragraphs.

 Knowledge of insurance contracts such as health, life, disability, supplemental health and/or self-funded
 Knowledge of insurance products such as health, dental, life, disability and/or supplemental
 Knowledge of group health state and federal regulations on contract administration.
 PC experience including Microsoft Office.
 Experience in deadline driven environment and completing tasks on time.
 Judgment and problem resolution skills.
 Verbal and written communication skills to interface with staff from other departments, draft document language and handle issue resolution.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
 Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria.
 Experience working on corporate projects. Skills in project management/project planning.

This is a flex/hybrid position (3 days in office; 2 days remote).

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
