Job Description
Lead the development, implementation, and measurement of internal communications programs for the Quality Department, including direct management of Communications Specialists in the U.S. and Asia. Accountable for implementing the communications strategy and associated channels to enable leadership to effectively communicate information and drive engagement throughout the organization. Work directly with key stakeholders across the company to provide information about key business initiatives, priorities, programs, processes and more.
Major Responsibilities:
Lead development of the Quality’s communications strategy and oversee tactical execution support with Quality Communications team members. Develop and execute communication plans and key message platforms around key processes, major change initiatives and more.
Serve as an internal consultant and partner with division leaders to build strategic communication plans that drive employee engagement, shape culture and build connected employee communities. Work cross-functionally with leaders to align on goals, strategy and messaging.
Accountable for the development of clear, targeted and concise communication deliverables that drive employee engagement. Translate complex company initiatives/programs into easy-to-understand messaging, both visually and verbally.
Manage end-to-end execution of communications, including assessment, writing, review, and publishing ranging in size, impact, delivery vehicle, and turnaround time.
Oversee delivery of and adherence to communication policies including the formulation and development, distribution, evaluation, and updating of communication strategies and programs.
Oversee the development of standard communication templates that can be leveraged and tailored at multiple levels, ensuring simplicity and consistency across the organization. Ensure proper instruction is provided to others how to develop and deliver content in alignment with strategy.
Oversee content delivery through a variety of medium including, but not limited to newsletters, digital signs, video, bulletins, posters and more.
Accountable for accurate and accessible centralized communication site via designated sites and platforms.
Lead or serve as key advisor for strategic change management and change communication strategies and assignments.

May have limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact
Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies
Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning
Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
Work Experience
At least 5 years of experience in communications and/or marketing roles to include supporting internal communication programs. Extensive experience writing for varied formats (long-form, short-form), mediums (social media, web, video) and audiences.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Creative, visual storyteller, with a passion for creating content for all channels and audiences.
Extraordinary writing, storyboarding, and presentation development skills.
Collaborative professional capable of building cross-functional relationships to drive change and influence business decisions.
Position requires skill and ability to effectively and appropriately influence senior management/partners.
Communications planning and implementation experience (including the ability to integrate and coordinate various elements into an actionable plan).
Advanced project management skills with relevant technical experience in both print management and video production.
Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and work within a deadline-driven environment.
Ability to work across a matrixed structure as well as work independently.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Work Experience
Executive communications experience supporting corporate functions within a global organization.
Experience contributing to the design and execution of leadership narratives and supporting content strategies for socially driven channels.
At least 1-2 years’ experience in people leadership.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$101,000.00 - $152,000.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
