In This Role

In this position, you will support the social media presence of executives and developers at a leading gaming studio, helping them engage authentically with the gaming community and the broader industry. You’ll partner closely with studio leaders, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure individuals across the organization can participate meaningfully in online conversations, share perspectives on development, and build trust with players, creators, and industry peers. The role focuses on enabling real voices rather than managing corporate broadcast channels, ensuring social activity reflects the human side of the studio. You’ll help draft and refine posts, guide engagement strategies, and surface community insights so leaders and developers can connect with audiences in ways that feel credible, thoughtful, and aligned with studio values and community standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support studio executives and developers in maintaining authentic, community-oriented social media presences across platforms such as X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
  • Partner with leaders and developers to draft, edit, and refine social media content in their voice while maintaining alignment with the studio’s tone, values, and community guidelines.
  • Develop content ideas that highlight developer insights, creative processes, leadership perspectives, and behind-the-scenes context for the gaming community.
  • Coordinate posting cadence and platform strategies for individual accounts, balancing consistency with real-time participation in relevant industry and community conversations.
  • Monitor engagement and surface meaningful community conversations, sentiment, and feedback to executives, developers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Communications/PR, Community, and Game Development teams to align individual social activity with major studio moments, announcements, and cultural conversations.
  • Advise leaders and developers on thoughtful community engagement and responses while maintaining discretion and brand safety.
  • Ensure social content and activity adhere to company policies, including confidentiality, compliance, and community standards.
  • Contribute to reporting and qualitative insights that inform best practices for executive and developer social engagement.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with exceptional knowledge of social platforms and online communities, including how conversations form, evolve, and spread across platforms such as X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and community-driven spaces.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with strong social copywriting skills, including the ability to write and edit in the voice of different individuals and adapt tone appropriately for executives, developers, and community audiences.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience interpreting engagement, sentiment, and community feedback in a qualitative and contextual way, using insights to inform recommendations, best practices, and ongoing improvement (deep performance marketing or growth optimization expertise is not required).
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with executives, developers, and cross-functional teams while exercising strong editorial judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organization, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with gaming communities, developer ecosystems, or the broader interactive entertainment industry.
  • Experience supporting social media for executives, game developers, or industry leaders within gaming, entertainment, or technology organizations.
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools such as Sprinklr or native platform analytics.
  • Understanding of developer culture and community-driven gaming ecosystems.
  • Experience translating qualitative engagement insights into guidance that strengthens authenticity, trust, and community connection.

Compensation Information:

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.

For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $85,000 to $94,000 annually. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range.
