This is a flexible, collaborative opportunity designed entirely to help you build a compelling, professional portfolio and master modern graphic design skills tailored for the web.
Focus:
We are looking for a creative and collaborative Graphic Designer with light video editing skills
Social media graphics, animations, and visual content aligned with messaging.
Digital assets for web, potentially email campaigns.
Edit and produce short-form videos that enhance storytelling across external channels.
Ensure all creative work reflects the brand voice, tone, and visual identity.
Collaborate with us to refine visuals so they align seamlessly with messaging goals.
Maintain a shared library of branded graphics, and assets to support the broader team.
Real-World Features: Opportunity to practice creating new creative workflows using modern design technologies.
Portfolio Piece: Gain a strong, verifiable project to showcase on your resume and portfolio. You will be able to fully list the extent of your contributions.
Guide our Graphic Design Software: Depending on your experience level, you may have the exciting opportunity to guide the development of our software interface (an SVG design application with a focus on animation and interactivity features).
This project is currently managed as a voluntary initiative and is a non-paid learning environment.
Potential for Production Impact: Designs developed as part of your educational goals may be integrated into the final website, social media, or the software product itself! This offers you a unique chance to see your designs applied in a real-world setting.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar tools;
Light video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools).
Strong eye for visual storytelling and the ability to make complex information easy to understand.
Experience designing for multiple channels (digital, social, email).
Portfolio showcasing design work that demonstrates creativity and alignment with communications objectives.
Experience with motion graphics or animation.
Familiarity with digital marketing strategies.
Understanding of accessibility standards in design.
