Job Description:

About the Role:

The Customer & Market Research Summer Intern will contribute to a global team responsible for providing world class customer and market insights to inform Dow Jones Risk’s proposition roadmaps. 

This position also involves supporting the financial crime and third-party risk proposition and product leadership. 

Specific responsibilities include detailed ‘desk’ research (using publicly available information); data collection and analysis; and involvement in projects aimed at improving customer and market understanding. 

You Will:

  • Learn about Dow Jones’ Risk & Compliance business

  • Receive clear KPIs with biweekly deliverables as part of your role

  • Conduct basic qualitative and quantitative research 

  • Perform industry and market research on potential areas of growth to assess market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscapes. Participate in market analysis projects alongside local team members.

  • Assist the team with tracking competitors (e.g. major events, product releases, earnings, strategic partnerships, etc.)

  • Assist in the creation and delivery of internal market assessments and client deliverables.

You Have:

  • Completed at least two years of University level study

  • Have an interest in market research 

  • Excellent writing skills including the ability to report on complicated, technical subjects in a clear and concise manner
