The Role:

We’re looking for an Entry-Level Client Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll learn how to prospect for new business, build customer relationships, and support the management of a developing book of freight customers across the U.S. and Canada.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is competitive, coachable, and excited to grow in a high-energy sales environment.

What You’ll do:

  • Build and develop customer relationships through outbound prospecting and daily client communication
  • Support truckload freight sales with a focus on reliability and strong service
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and positive customer experiences
  • Work toward and exceed activity and performance KPIs (calls, shipments, tracking, etc.)
  • Learn and use OTR’s technology and tools to make informed decisions
  • Grow your pipeline using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outreach methods
  • Follow our structured sales training program while developing your own sales style

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of sales, customer service, or related experience (logistics experience is a plus but not required)
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and resilient mindset
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Coachable with a strong desire to build a career in sales and logistics
