Associate Demand Planner

Responsibilities
Entry level position that encourages the development of demand planning skills and capabilities needed to meet current and future business requirements of our customers. The demand planner associate will form relationships and engage with various functions across HAVI supply chain.
The Associate Demand Planner will become familiarized with demand planning methodologies, functionality, and processes. In time, the Associate Planner will focus on the execution and delivery of accurate forecasts and support menu item planning for HAVI’s strategic customers.
Specific responsibilities include:
Adaptation of demand planning tools, processes, and tasks
Provide forecasts that include projected demand that accounts for promotions and trends while supporting development of supply plans
Develop and maintain collaborative business relationships with cross-functional HAVI departments and external customers
Support a team responsible for the planning and execution of successful forecasting initiatives including ad-hoc analytical projects and cross-functional assignments
Vocalize ideas and innovative solutions to existing business complexities
Support and perform other tasks as required
Desired Skills & Experience
BA or BS in Supply Chain, Business, Economics or related discipline
Knowledge of supply chain planning and management
Experience with database applications or ability to adapt to and learn new software applications
Knowledge of advanced planning and inventory software systems such as JDA or SAP
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience in a team environment
Internship or experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Distribution, Analytics or business related field
