55places.com is an Internet-based real estate company located on the border of Bucktown/Lincoln Park across from the Clybourn Metra stop. We are looking for someone who is quick learning, accurate, self-motivated, outgoing, and driven by personal success. A positive attitude, self-direction, and patience are required to succeed in this position. Multi-tasking is a must!

We have two part-time positions available working 24-32 hours per week. Our Call Center is open from 7am-7pm central time. If you are scheduled during the week, you will work at our Bucktown office location. If you are scheduled during on the weekends, you will work from a home office setting.

Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered:

* Able to answer, screen, and transfer inbound calls in a professional and timely manner.

* Possess excellent written and verbal skills.

* Tech-savvy, and skilled in Word/Excel. Familiarity with Mac computer preferred.

* Must be able to work in an office setting during the week and from home on weekends, if needed, with fast Internet in a quiet, uninterrupted space.

* Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.

* High school diploma required. Some college or college degree preferred. Students welcome to apply.

* Previous sales, data entry, or inbound/outbound call center experience is a plus.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Use VoIP software to receive and transfer inbound calls

* Follow a flexible script and have a conversation with callers

* Think on your feet

* Accurately collect and type client information

* Respond to general email communication from customers

* Basic office tasks that help the team accomplish its goals

* Reports to VP of Sales
