DRW is looking for a Relationship Manager to join a team of highly talented cryptocurrency traders and researchers in our Cumberland Mining business. As part of this team, you will be tasked with building our brand awareness and increasing our footprint, both here in the US and globally. Given the nature of this market, you will also be expected to understand changes occurring real-time. This is a unique opportunity for someone to leverage their financial markets sales experience in a new way.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business by identifying and onboarding new counterparties
- Participate in networking activities to develop new counterparty relationships, such as attending conferences, executing targeted marketing campaigns, direct outreach to potential counterparties, etc.
- Respond to new, potential counterparty leads and inquiries; act as main point of contact to these potential counterparties
- Actively promote the Cumberland Mining brand
- Work directly with traders and cryptocurrency researchers to gain market knowledge and expertise
- Work with operations team to help onboard new counterparties; provide high touch support to new counterparties
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience marketing to and/or managing accounts for high net worth individuals
- Strong knowledge of cryptocurrencies and digital wallets
- 5+ years of account management or sales experience, working with financial markets participants
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to travel often
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Initiative and proven experience independently driving projects to completion
