As the Data Acquisition Manager,you will help us identify & unlock new opportunities and growth areas with key private and governmental organizations.You will build relationships and drive strategic objectives for location-data requirements.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Driving Strategic Partnerships which bring in a variety of high importance map content categories that are key for our future products
- Interacting with senior level executives,with a proven ability to suggest and enable creative partnership opportunities across sectors - Telecom, BFSI, E-commerce, Logistics, etc
- Engaging and influencing government stakeholders to bring about changes, if necessary, to regulations enabling a open data market
- Identifying, evaluating, analyzing, and recommending strategic partnership opportunities across Government, Central / State Ministries & Private organizations
- Conducting research and competitive analysis related to industry trends, potential new communities, and related topics as required
- Preparing reports used to monitor community activities and drive decision-making.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders across legal, licensing, analytics, compliance, and business teams.
- Conducting market research & building good understanding of the data market, supplier segmentation as well as government dynamics to include identification and development of relationships with the key decision-makers in the region.
Who are you?
You will find success in this role if you possess the following skills , competencies , experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related fields
- 8+ years of relevant experience in identifying, developing, and executing end-to-end strategic partnerships and alliances
- Proven experience in supplier/customer relationship management and business development, with the ability to build, sustain, and leverage strong networks
- Strong influencing and persuasion skills, with a proactive, can-do attitude and high goal orientation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (presentation, written, and verbal) - in Japanese and English
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented mindset, with strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity or interest in AI tools is a plus
