Job Description:
Vivid Seats is looking for a Data Warehouse Architect to help drive the data warehouse strategy and power our product and analytics capabilities. As a Data Warehouse Architect, you’ll help set the direction for Vivid Seats evolving, scaling, high traffic marketplace with respect to data platform, pipeline, data model, reporting and visualization capabilities.
This role will be responsible for not only defining the technical direction of our data warehouse stack, but also plays a large role working with analysts and business stakeholders defining data systems that provide exceptional insights into the business. You’ll work with a team of engineers to create data pipelines to capture and transform data, and with data analysts to drive who use that data through reports and visualizations.

Responsibilities:
Define the technical roadmap of Vivid Seats BI/Data Stack
Work with platform and data engineering to define, implement and improve our data pipeline and ETL processes and ensure consistency and quickness in delivery
Define SQL schemas for data driven insights, such as historical pricing, availability and member activities
Document the contents, format, and structure of databases and enhance data quality processes
Technical leadership and mentoring of Vivid Seats analysts and engineers
Identify and advocate the use of best tools, libraries, and processes for data warehouse, ETL and BI technologies
Participate in an agile development process
Pair with engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to deliver data that is insightful and impactful
Desired Skills and Experience:
7+ years of experience working with large mission critical e-commerce data warehouses
Formal training with data-warehousing and modeling
Experience with commercial and open source modeling and data transformation tools
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Looker and Tableau
Experience with AWS Redshift a plus
Familiarity with agile development cycles & rapid prototyping
A creative and organized data professional who thrives in both an independent and small team environment
