In this particular role for Advanced Analytics under Information Management team the candidate will be working with Business users in creating Custom Data Attributes from the External Vendor provided data. Also works on creating Aggregated Attributes from internal data available in Premise or Cloud based eco-system (AWS).
Responsible for performing advanced analytics in support of business issues and business intelligence efforts. Provides cost benefit analyses and strategic recommendations to resolve business issues.
Responsibilities
- Partners with business leaders to ensure and in-depth understanding of requirements and performance levers for each analysis.
- Utilizes advanced analytical and data mining tools to generate insights and actionable recommendations.
- Extracts data from multiple sources and performs complex analyses to identify the root cause of business issues.
- Develops and automates dashboards and reports that consistently monitor and explain trends.
- Performs ad-hoc analyses and builds custom reports.
- Presents findings form analyses and makes recommendations to leadership.
- Responsible for performing advanced analytics in support of business issues and business intelligence efforts. Provides cost benefit analyses and strategic recommendations to resolve business issues.
- Develop/ create attributes using FICO DMPs framework based on the Business requirements.
- Data aggregation based on the Business requirements.
- Involve in SDLC of the assigned projects and act as SME of the attributes created.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Statistics, Business, Data Science, or related quantitative field
- 2+ years of experience in Finance, Statistics, Business, Data Science, or related quantitative field
- In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in Finance, Statistics, Business, Data Science, or related quantitative field
Preferred Qualifications
If we had our say, we’d also look for:
Knowledge of Credit Bureaus Reports and/ or knowledge of data aggregation/ data wrangling tools is preferred.
Underwriting or Portfolio Data Analytics/ Implementation experience in Credit card, Banking, Fraud, Risk & Compliance is preferred.
Data warehouse/ DataMart development using Tools like Informatica /Datastage/ Ab-Initio is a plus.
SAS, Teradata, AWS, Snowflake skills are preferred.
Master's Degree in Finance, Statistics, Business, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related quantitative field.
