Associate Data Analyst, Customer Analytics

It's with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add an Associate Data Analyst to our team. Reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence, you will use rich analytics to generate insights that inform product, marketing and business decisions across the company. You will sit on a cross-disciplinary team who guide the direction and approach to improving the experiences of current and prospective Hireology clients.
As our Associate Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:
Working directly with engineers, program managers and product managers to understand and satisfy stakeholders’ needs, while communicating and coordinating closely with business partners and leadership.
Executing quantitative analyses that translate data into actionable insights that lead to innovation.
Developing reports and dashboards that assist business stakeholders and further understanding of our products.
Collaborating with engineers to collect new data sources into our data warehouse and data visualization platform.
Constantly learning, discovering, and implementing ways of improving your own knowledge and our shared workflows.
Writing SQL queries that will be leveraged by internal and external stakeholders.

Experience with data modeling, statistical analysis and working with data visualization platforms
BA/BS degree in a quantitative field of study or equivalent professional experience
Documented ability to perform ad hoc analyses, measure the validity of the results, and communicate actionable insights to decision makers
Proficiency in SQL and databases (most notably PostgreSQL) is required
Proficiency in Looker is strongly preferred
Proficiency in R or Python is a plus
Previous exposure to ETL, data model design, and data warehouse concepts is a plus
