DRW is looking for a Cryptoasset Analyst to join a growing team of highly talented cryptoasset technologists, traders and researchers. As part of our Cumberland team, you will be tasked with researching, analyzing, and tracking developments in the cryptoasset ecosystem.
More on the role:
You’ll focus on researching individual cryptoassets to discover new investment opportunities and produce regular reports for key decision makers and senior management. You’ll also spend time every day following market changes affecting major cryptoassets and reporting those updates to the rest of the team. You will be expected to stay abreast of industry trends and developments in individual cryptoassets in order to help manage and further diversify a large cryptoasset portfolio.

What's needed in the role:
You’ll need to have at least 4 years of strong data analysis and reporting experience. You should be a strategic thinker and an excellent written and verbal communicator. A strong interest in cryptoassets and cryptoasset communities is critical. You’ll also need to possess initiative and have a track record of independently driving projects to completion. Previous experience in financial services or buy side/sell side research focusing on fintech preferred.
You should have a genuine passion for cryptoassets and ideally you are already an active participant in cryptoasset user groups and open source projects. A strong understanding of the technology underlying cryptoassets will also be very valuable in this role, as will previous experience using third-party research services and tools.
