Job Description
TITLE: Lead Data Engineer
DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Lead Data Engineer in Riverwoods, IL to design and develop data driven platforms and next generation analytic technologies. Design and develop data ingestion frameworks leveraging open source tools and data processing frameworks. Design and develop complex and critical data projects. Develop, implement, and support application codes and analytical models. Create and enhance data solutions that enable seamless integration and flow of data across the data ecosystem. Design and develop real time processing solutions. Promote a risk aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: programming using tools, including Python, Spark, Scala, R, and Java; performing data processing using Ab initio; utilizing database technologies, including Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, DB2, SQL, NoSQL, GraphSQL, and Redshift; managing source code using Github; performing continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) using Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes, and Jenkins; and utilizing technologies, including Amazon Web Service (AWS) Cloud, React, Node Js, and Tableau. In the alternative, the employer will accept three (3) years of academic studies toward a Bachelor’s degree in one of the above-listed fields and two (2) years of related work experience to satisfy the educational requirement.
