Job Summary:

Responsible for serving as a results-oriented business analyst to the leadership of the business unit to help ensure the achievement of the company’s contingent workforce management strategies. Accountable for summarizing all types of data and operations information that will assist management in both long- and short-range strategic planning. Works to support business analysis and recommendations that help the business achieve operational effectiveness and efficiency on contingent team transformation initiatives. Supports cross-functional initiatives and provides analysis support on industry best practices and processes related to business transformation in Retail, Pharmacy, or Business infrastructure-related fields. Supports the facilitation of the designs and assessment of work efforts to ensure alignment to business and customer objectives. Responsible for organization of meeting coordination, stakeholder involvement in workshops, meeting action items, and follow-ups.

Job Responsibilities:

•Maintains a strong working relationship and understanding of contingent labor use throughout Walgreens to support various strategic initiatives related to Contingent Workforce Management strategies.

•Plan, design, and deploy appropriate reports and tools to support the strategic implementation of programs and projects related to business strategies.

•Understands and gathers information for some or all of the following: Walgreen Stores, Merchandising, Pharmacy, DC’s, and Competitors to provide analysis and insights as input in strategies tied to Contingent Labor.

•Analyzes corresponding data to effectively recommend procedure changes, process enhancements, business requirements, or cross-business opportunities with costs and/or return on investment summarized. Examines data to identify trends through the review of historical, qualitative, and quantitative data and develop recommended changes.

•Develops and supports methods, processes, and reports to manage the initiative delivery within HR. Analyzes data to effectively identify program performance variances and recommend potential courses of action to address such variations.

•Works with leaders to research and identify critical targets as they relate to work within the Contingent Workforce Management Office.

•Maintain and help manage the Contingent Workforce Management Site (Sharepoint), Quickforms for related processes.

•Assists in the development of PowerPoint presentations and end-user training materials.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience in business analysis OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least four years of experience in business analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel to build compelling analytical reports to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Experience identifying operational issues, recommending, and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
  • Experience developing/maintaining SharePoint Site, Microsoft Forms, Power Automate.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within the state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of 1-2 years in recruiting/contingent labor industry.

• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.

• Experience in leveraging Power BI to show and report on insights and analytics.

• Experience in planning and supporting the facilitation of large cross-functional workshops.
