Kin + Carta exists to make the world work better by delivering transformative growth for our clients. As a digital transformation firm, we apply creativity, data, and technology to help clients invent, market, and operate new digital products and services that turn prospects into customers, and customers into advocates. Kin + Carta seamlessly integrates the strategic consulting, software engineering and marketing technology needed to help businesses 'Make It Happen'.

Kin + Carta operates under an organizational model called “The Connective,” a global ecosystem of over 1,600 technologists, strategists, and creatives. Together, the Connective provides full-service capabilities for not only our clients but for employee experience and mobility.

Consultants at Kin + Carta have the opportunity to: engage with the most cutting-edge emerging technologies, solve difficult problems for some of the world’s biggest companies, and work within a breadth of industries.

Kin + Carta is headquartered in Chicago and London with offices across four continents. Our culture and shared ways of working unite us globally, but it’s our diverse specialisms, our connections, and our courage that makes our firm a recognized best place to work.

Throughout this Delivery Analyst Rotational Program you’ll dive head-first into a variety of roles which have been selected to help you learn and master a broad range of software delivery and consulting skills over a ~2 year period. Each of these roles is critical to the success of our cross-functional delivery teams on our client projects. Whether driving requirements gathering or preparing for a Production release, our people are passionate about defying expectations.

You’ll collaborate closely with different team members, clients, and colleagues as you sample various roles, industries, and products. We can promise that with each rotation you’ll be challenged to think differently and develop new skills. This program is here to support and empower you to see two worlds -- from the details of a design to the birds eye view of a large, high-functioning client project.

At the end of this program you’ll gain a broad understanding of our business, software delivery and consulting. The experiences you create and the lessons learned will enable you to have greater flexibility and an attuned perspective as you grow your career at Kin + Carta. Your network will rally around you, your passions, and your strengths, and will work closely to help you determine your specialty “best fit”. We would like to emphasize that your career path at Kin + Carta is not set in stone. As an outcome of this program, your diverse and broad background will give you immense flexibility in pursuing subsequent roles. You will also receive a tailored training program and team building experiences valued at $5,000 per fiscal year.

Rotations could include:

  • Scrum Master
  • Program Analyst
  • Product Strategy Analyst
  • Product Quality Analyst
  • User Experience Operations Analyst

What we are looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree graduate
  • Enthusiastically curious, and excited about constant learning and development
  • Driven and dedicated, even when the path may be ambiguous
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Exercised problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the client solution and deliverables
  • Highly motivated self starter, a team player who works well on cross functional teams
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (plan, design, development, testing, and deployment) and ability to work with both the business and technology teams is a plus but not required

We welcome our Kin to show up as their full selves everyday. Because this is so important to us, Kin + Carta is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

What does your typical day look like?

My days are pretty dynamic — I could be preparing to lead a workshop, working on a product roadmap, sitting with research on customer interviews, mentoring team members, etc. A few things are constant every day, though: I get to solve interesting problems, I get to be creative, and I get to work with amazing people.

Michelle

Director of Solution Delivery

What makes someone successful on your team?

To me, what makes individuals on my team successful is a recognition that there is always something new to learn and always more room for growth. An open, honest desire to not only learn from your teammates' expertise, but also to share your own, is a huge part of what makes a teammate at Kin + Carta successful.

Reid

Technical Principal

What unique initiatives do you have that encourage innovation?

As a digital innovation firm, creativity is in our DNA. We hold an annual client summit to harness the creativity of our Kin. Employees self-organize around our R&D function, solving problems with emerging technologies to show off to our clients. Many of these ideas have gone on to help our clients better understand their end-user.
