Compensation Pay Range:
$18.75 - $20.85
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Provide assistance to the warehouse departments by performing various clerical duties. Assist the DC management team with all aspects of clerical support needed to efficiently maintain the operation of the distribution center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Input daily items received and maintains an accurate entry for things received.
Log and assign batch numbers to incoming shipments while maintaining the UPS/RPS logbook.
Check daily received shipments and edit for errors and make corrections.
Make bin location changes as needed.
Assist the receiving department in scheduling and coordination of inbound freight.
Maintain the reserve location system.
Assist the returns department with clerical duties, primarily keypunching store credits, issuing customer credits, and maintaining core, warranty, and rebox tallies.
Check credit edit report for errors.
Make corrections, clear, and file all tickets.
Call stores on all zeroed items and keep an accurate log.
Research order picker accuracy.
Key the over/short report.
Key the productivity forms.
Initiate computer system daily to print and distribute reports.
Answer phones and greet visitors.
Distribute messages and interoffice mail.
Make copies as needed and order and maintain office supplies.
All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Must be able to multitask and work well in a team environment
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
10-key and typing ability with basic computer skills
Desired:
Previous clerical experience
Familiarity with spreadsheet and word processing PC programs
Advanced computer skills
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
